Synopsis

There is no need to explain the background of the title “Give me the moonlight” to those who wore bell-bottomed trousers, tight shirts and miniskirts. It is a line from the romantic smash hit of the 70-s that was played on every dance floor. For the main character of the film, a TV host Sergey Kupriyanov, and his wife this song is connected with the beginning of their love story.

But it’s been many years since then. By the end of the 90-s a successful and talented journalist Sergey Kupriyanov became a “star”. He is popular, irresistible and famous. He won the biggest professional award and has his own show now. At last, his grandson was born and as a young-looking grandfather he became even more charming. The man's success attracts beautiful women, therefore it is no wonder that a young employee of the TV company eagerly accepts Sergey's offer to go together abroad and to do the shooting for his show. One would think that the well-known journalist has everything to be pleased with his life. However the success becomes meaningless when he realizes that he might lose, what appears to be the most important thing, the love of his wife.
